AUSTRALIAN FROGS                   22

Also known as Common Spadefoot Toad and Painted Burrowing Frog.  Found on or west of great Dividing Range of NSW to western Victoria, southern Queensland and far eastern SA. Inhabits ponds, dams didches, clay pans or any still water in woodland, scrubland and disturbed areas. A burrowing frog that spends much of the time underground.
